Hopelessly Devoted!

Hopelessly devoted
That’s what I am.
Why else would I find myself in this jam
Trying hard to keep up as best as I can.
Writing, reading and commenting is fine
At responding to comments I draw the line.

I wish I could say I’m fed up now
But it just gets worse.
So can you tell me how
I can unplug from blogging
And instead of slogging
I take a break?
I need some help
For goodness sake!

If you find yourself taking up blogging challenges, prompts and just about anything that’s related to writing and blogging, then you’re probably hopelessly devoted too!

I’m blogging through the 31 Days of October (grab this button from the sidebar if you are too).

I’m also linking into the Ultimate Blog Challenge and October’s NaBloPoMo.

  1. I also draw the line to replying to comments. But each weekend I will catch up on those as well. And Corinne we all are hopelessly devoted and mad to even undertake it πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

  2. Yes, one has to draw the line somewhere, not just in blogging, but in all aspects of life.

  3. I am hopelessly devoted. πŸ˜€
I draw the line at commenting. I am not snooty but I don’t like giving fake praise because I don’t like getting fake praise. When it comes to responding to comments that I’ve received, I try to respond to all of them, don’t want them to feel unheard.

As far as blogging is concerned, I am on a roll these days. Although I will unplug for a while after some time. πŸ™‚ It is much-needed.

  4. Love this!! Yes, we are hopelessly devoted to blogging!! That cartoon is soo apt for all of us!!
Yesterday, I outsourced replying of comments to the author whose book I had reviewed and he gladly did it!! So took a break for a day πŸ˜‰

  5. I enjoy blogging, reading and commenting too, but now I’m happy to take a short break.

  6. Yes, yes, exactly how I feel. I forcefully take a break, or else I will go mad! πŸ˜€

  7. I will maybe say WT is the culprit in my case πŸ˜‰ Not tht am complaning πŸ˜›

  8. I don’t know about the rest of you folks commenting but at this point I just kicked the “butt” and therefore need something to keep my mind off the nicotine cravings and all this reading, commenting and posting is keeping my mind ticking and ticking and ticking.

I really don’t know when this crazy rigmarole merry go round of reading, commenting and posting is going to stop. Truth be told I am having too much fun here to stop doing it. Hope you guys who read my comments and my posts are also having as much fun.

  9. I think we all are. Even though I’m super busy, I still feel like I must write. Eat, sleep, bathe, write πŸ˜›

  10. πŸ™‚ I’m amazed at how you guys do it! Daily blogging, promoting your posts on various platforms, reading, writing and again the cycle! Daily blogging is too much for me….hats off to u!

  11. Don u think of unplugging from blogging after getting us all into the soup πŸ˜‰

  12. I know precisely what you mean πŸ™‚
